The book club has been running successfully for 3 months in San Francisco. Thus, I am expanding to Peninsular area. Instead of Book Club, it will be a Podcast Club since I won't be able to run another weekly book club. The podcast I choose will be interviews with an author of a financial book. I would highly recommend to read the book, but at least watch or listen to the podcasts. We will kick start the first event with the discussion of interviews with Morgan Housel, the author of "The Psychology of Money". Here are the links

I plan to organize two events every month in peninsula. Look forward to seeming you and having a lively discussion.

Agenda

How to find us
We will be at the Food Court. Since it is a big Food Court, I will post where I am once I get there. If the weather is nice, we might even meet outside. The table will have a green/beige sign of Cafe Finance.

About the book
Doing well with money isn't necessarily about what you know. It's about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people. Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don't make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In the Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life's most important topics.
