BMO Centre Expansion Guided Walking Tour

I previously organized this event and tickets sold out quickly. This time I secured 10 tickets, so there is no need for you to get your own on Eventbrite. It is a really neat tour if you are interested in Stampede history, art and mega architecture.

Join us for a guided walking tour of Western Canada's newest, largest and most modern convention center, located in the heart of Calgary's emerging Culture + Entertainment District.

This tour is 1 hour in length, and will visit all 3 levels of public event space.

You will be introduced to Canada's Largest Indoor Fireplace, be re-acquainted with a modernized "Neon Cowboy" and learn some of the history behind the designs and spaces in the new convention centre.

The tour will start at the Concierge desk in the Plaza concourse of the new BMO Centre.

*Parking fees not included (onsite parking is expensive. Consider taking the train, carpooling, or parking offsite)

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, if you are either on the Attending List or the Wait List, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- "No Shows" (those that sign up but then don't show up) will be noted. Please respect other members who are on the Wait List that want to attend.
- If you are running late or otherwise need to contact the event organizer, please post a message in the Comments below.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attempt to participate. Stay home and get better.
- Be respectful to others and observe personal boundaries. This includes the venue staff.
- If there are any concerns with another member's behaviour, let the event organizer know so this can be dealt with immediately.
