Douglas Fir Trail and Angel's Cafe

Take a short hike through one of Calgary's hidden gems. The group will meet up at Angel's Cafe then head to the top of the Douglas Fir Trail. We will circle back and return to Angel's for a treat to reward ourselves!

The trail runs along a densely wooded escarpment with dramatic views of the Bow River Valley.

This is a moderately difficult hike with a significant elevation gain over a short distance. Please take breaks as required. The planned trail is about 40 minutes roundtrip.

WHAT: Hike and Coffee

WHERE: Douglas Fir Trail and Angel's Cafe in Edworthy Park
Meet at Angel's Cafe (4105 Montgomery View NW)

WHEN: Saturday, May 24 at 10 am

DRESS: Dress for the weather. Wear good walking/hiking shoes.

PARKING: Free lot parking.

- bug spray

- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- This event will be cancelled if there is too much rain as it can have a major impact on the pathway.
