Join us for an entertaining evening of "Yuk Yuk'ing" with three comedians along with the Headliner Dave Nystrom. Dave is an acclaimed comedian who has performed stand up all over the world. This includes a tour of the United Kingdom, HBO's prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, filmed a stand up special for Comedy Central in New York and his own one hour TV special for the Canadian Comedy Network. In 2006 he was brought on as a writer for CBC’s “This Hour has 22 Minutes” during which he won a Canadian Comedy Award and a Writers Guild of Canada Award. He also wrote, produced and starred in “Comedy Club” which was chosen as one of seven finalists out of thousands of submissions for The Reel Madness International Film Festival.

He has worked with the likes of Robin Williams, Dane Cook, Bob Saget, Patton Oswalt, and Harland Williams among others. He has also written for National Lampoon, wrote the special features on the Anniversary BluRay Edition of the cult movie “Office Space”, has starred in pilots for VH1 as well as the CBC. (And apparently, he has four children who are slowly trying to kill him).

The show starts at 7:00p but we need to give ourselves enough time to get seated at our reserved table to order drinks & nibbles and socialize a bit before the show begins.

TICKETS / BILLING:
- Our GROUP RATE is $19.75 + GST
- I have reserved 2 tables of 12 next to each other
- Purchase your own ticket when you arrive to the club and mention you're with the Gen-X Meetup group (OR give them my name). They'll then direct you to our tables.

PARKING:
- The Parkade is available for all Yuk Yuk's patrons free of charge, 2 levels of underground parking on a space available basis, accessible from 18th Ave S.E.
- Limited street parking on N side of 18th Ave.
- Limited street parking on 17th SW between Macleod Tr and 1st St S.E.
- Westpark pay lot on South side of casino, regular rates apply.

SOME CONSIDERATIONS:
- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, if you are either on the Attending List or the Wait List, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- "No Shows" (those that sign up but then don't show up) will be noted. Please respect other members who are on the Wait List that want to attend.
- If you are running late or otherwise need to contact the event organizer, please post a message in the Comments below.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attempt to participate. Stay home and get better.
- Be respectful to others and observe personal boundaries. This includes the venue staff.
- If there are any concerns with another member's behaviour, let the event organizer know so this can be dealt with immediately.
