1980s Glow-BOWL Pizza Party & Costume Contest

03/01 UPDATE: THANK YOU to everyone who has paid up for this event. We now have a confirmed group of 10: Two bowling lanes w/ 5 people each. Since we're a smaller group, please show up at 7:00p rather than 6:45p to nab your bowling shoes, pizza dinner, and bevies, and we'll begin bowling at 7:30p. (And YES, we're still doing the 1980s 'COSTUME' CONTEST afterward! It's gonna be TOTALLY TUBULAR!!) :-)

Let's STRIKE up a SPAREtacular Friday Night with GLOW-Bowling & Pizza! We'll bowl to Awesome 80s Tunes, and don our BEST 80s "Costume" for a chance to Win a (decent) Prize!
Join us for 2 games of GLOW-bowling which should take us ~1.5 hours. Since the bowling alley doesn't have much in the way of "dinner" food, I will pre-arrange for a pizza & cookie delivery. There's a full service bar where you may purchase your own beverages such as beer/wine/highball/soda/bottled water.

It's gonna be TOTALLY RAD!

WHEN:
Friday, March 13
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

- Arrive at 7:00p to nab your bowling shoes and then claim your lane.
- Then grab yourself some pizza, dessert, and a beverage from the bar in which we'll socialize for a bit before the games begin promptly at 7:30p.
- Once we've finished our games, prizes will be awarded for the HIGHEST game score, as well as the BEST 1980s "Dude" AND "Dudette" costumes.

(Sigh....remember when we simply referred to them as "clothes"?)

TICKETS / BILLING:
- $32/pp
- Price per person includes 2 games of Glow-bowling, bowling shoes rental, pizza dinner, 3 prizes for the highest game score and 80s costume contest winners, and for MY share (a little comp I'm giving myself for the amount of time going into planning this shin-dig.) ;-)
- Confirmed attendees will then need to INTERAC e-Transfer their payment to me by NOON Monday, February 23 to: **leanne@mackenziecreativeservices.com**
- On Monday afternoon, I will confirm our final headcount with Toppler Bowl and then pay their required $ deposit to secure our reservation.
- PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. If you find you can no longer attend, the onus is on you to "sell" your spot to someone on the (potential) waitlist, in which I will assist. If there's no waitlist, then you're S.O.L. (or sell it to a friend who would be keen to meet some new people). :-)

SOME CONSIDERATIONS:
- As the event date approaches and you find out later you can no longer attend, if you are either on the Attending List or the Waitlist, please revisit this Meetup page and change your RSVP to Not Attending.
- "No Shows" (those that sign up but then don't show up) will be noted. Please respect other members who are on the Wait List that want to attend.
- If you are running late or otherwise need to contact the event organizer, please post a message in the Comments below.
- If you are feeling ill, please do not attempt to participate. Stay home and get better.
- Be respectful to others and observe personal boundaries. This includes the venue staff.
- If there are any concerns with another member's behaviour, let the event organizer know so this can be dealt with immediately.
