November 2023 - as the previous organizer recently stepped down, I've stepped up to become the organizer of this group in order to save it from oblivion. I ran the group many years ago, so I'm not a newbie to Meetup, but I haven't been active for quite a while. I won't be making any changes here, but I won't likely be creating any events myself - I wanted to preserve the group's history. Please contact me to become an Event Organizer.

The Calgary Coffee Meetup Group is like a friendly neighbourhood café, where you can sit back, relax, enjoy a cup of the bean, and chat with anybody else who happens along. We're a pretty laid-back bunch, on the lookout for good conversation, fun social gatherings, making new friends, or just getting out of the house & socializing in an easy and low-cost way... getting together for a cup of java is about as easy as it can be!!

We are still looking for some good people to help host in other areas, feel free to 'Suggest a new Meetup' with a date and location, there are quite a few people looking for a Southern meetup (hint hint).
COST: Being a member of the Calgary Coffee Meetup Group is free (but the coffee is on your own dime)!
