This is the meetup group for the Calgary Strategy and Wargaming Group (Calswag). We are an informal gaming club dedicated to the teaching and play of historical simulation games and conflict oriented strategy games. These include traditional hex and counter historical "wargame" simulations, more abstract games with a conflict theme (e.g. Wallenstein), or even science fiction conflict strategy games. We meet on the second Saturday of every month at the Sentry Box (11am) and host a variety of events throughout the year. Everyone is welcome, no matter your level of experience playing strategy games.
