What we’re about

Amicus Singers is a small choral group dedicated to singing sacred and secular works in a community setting. We are opening our rehearsals to new singers in the hopes that we can grow our choir. We like to sing early music (from Renaissance to Romantic periods), but we occasionally include thoughtful and moving contemporary pieces in our repertoire as well. From September to May we sing sacred works at church services and civic events. In November and December, we sing carols for local charities, seniors’ communities, and public activities. In the summer some of our members meet casually to sing secular Renaissance music (madrigals). We sing a cappella and are self-directed.
