Spiritual Conversations in the Park
Details
Are you curious about spirituality, intuition, energy, crystals, tarot, meditation, consciousness, or experiences that are not always easy to explain?
Spiritual Conversations in the Park is a relaxed and welcoming gathering where people can explore spiritual topics, ask questions, share personal experiences, and meet others who are curious about similar things.
You may be completely new to these topics, or you may have been exploring spirituality for many years. There is no required level of knowledge and no expectation that everyone will have the same beliefs or experiences.
This is not a class, lecture, meditation, or healing session. It is an open conversation shaped by the interests, questions, and experiences of the people who attend. Some evenings may begin with a particular question or topic, while other conversations may develop naturally from what the group is curious about.
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You can ask questions, share an experience, offer a perspective, or simply listen to the conversation.
The purpose is not to convince anyone what to believe. We are gathering to explore ideas with curiosity, learn from one another, and create a sense of community with people who enjoy conversations that may not happen in everyday life.
Take what resonates with you and leave the rest.
Before we begin
At the beginning of the evening, we will briefly cover a few things to help everyone feel comfortable. We will speak one person at a time so everyone has an opportunity to be heard. There is no judging and no expectation that everyone will agree. The focus is conversation, curiosity, and respect for different perspectives.
The nearby washrooms and other practical information will also be pointed out when you arrive.
What to bring
Please bring a lawn chair or blanket, a beverage, and clothing suitable for the weather. A journal and pen are optional if you would like to record an idea or something that stands out during the conversation.
Bug spray will be available.
Location
The gathering will take place at North Glenmore Park.
The exact meeting location within the park will be emailed to registered participants two days before the event.
Registration and attendance
This is a free event, but advance registration is required.
Attendance is limited to 12 people so the gathering can remain conversational and everyone has an opportunity to participate. If the event is full, please join the waitlist.
Because space is limited, please update your RSVP as soon as possible if your plans change so someone on the waitlist can attend.
The event will take place rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
Come with your questions, your experiences, or simply your curiosity. You do not need to know anyone, and many people attend community events on their own. Newcomers are welcome.
