The hike up to Rawson lake is pretty mild. The hike around the lake had 1-foot+ of snow that was blown onto the trail. If you are going up to Sarrail Ridge spikes are a must and I would highly suggest poles. The climb up is pretty difficult with the snow and not for the fainthearted but spikes made me feel pretty planted. Once we got to the top though it was all worth it! Amazing views.
