NOTE: Difficulty - This is a Hard hike. Gradual ascent in the valley with two notable steep scree sections - one to gain the ridge, one immediately below the summit. Some light bushwhacking sections along the lower creek. Decent amount of distance and elevation gain but non-technical. Very light scrambling on some of the steeper scree sections.
Boundary Peak sits southeast along the ridge connecting Midnight and Midday Peak. Like its neighbours, the peak offers great views of the Highway 40 area and the surrounding valleys.

Elevation gain: Approx. 950 meters
Time: Approx. 6 hours (including breaks)
Trail Description:
From the parking area, we will walk to the start of the Lusk Pass Trail. About 0.5km along the Lusk Pass Trail, we will turn off climber's left to the trail leading to the hunter's camp. The next 3.5 km will follow the creek drainage coming down from Boundary Ridge. Some sections of this trail are overgrown, but it's easier to navigate in the Fall. We will a few creek crossings but the water level is low enough to simply step across. The creek trail will become more defined the further up we go.
Once above the upper forest, we will take a sharp turn climber's right to gain a lower saddle in a grassy meadow. From the lower saddle, we will walk to the steep scree slope under Boundary Ridge and ascend the scree to gain the ridge. Once on the ridge, we will have a pleasant and mostly gradual 1.5km ridgewalk, with a few steeper scree sections close to the summit. We will enjoy the summit views and retrace our steps to the parking area.
