Pay it Forward with a night of improv comedy!

Are you a fan of improv, like "Whose Line is it Anyway?"
In Calgary, pretty much all improv talent & groups have had Rick Hilton involved in them - as a player, organizer, leader, emcee & more.
He trained under the best - quite literally, he learned from the guy who professionalized the genre.

The Loose Moose Theatre, the Calgary Improv Guild, and more, have benefitted from his knowledge of the improv business.
Since 1977, Rick has made people laugh, smile, smirk and occasionally double-up in laughter.

He founded the annual Calgary Improv Festival.
He's organized several charity events, and raised a lot of money for good causes.
He always has a smile on him.

DoSomethingNew went to the Improv Guild's performances for years, before circumstances & life changes made the troupe move off in their own directions. It's been a blast!

But when Rick was diagnosed in the fall of 2018 with a particularly aggressive form of terminal cancer, the smile wore off.
The improv community has come to his aid, and the Loose Moose Theatre is hosting a night of improv to raise funds for this funny guy, to give him a chance to live what time he has left (he won't likely see snow again) with some comfort.

If you think you've heard the name Hilton recently (March 9 as I write this), it's not a coincidence - Rick's dad Jack, 99, a decorated WWII Air Force pilot, just passed away and stories went out from the Canadian Air Force & news outlets.
