UPDATE MAY 17 3pm: One of the planes crashed in Kamloops after takeoff, into a house in a residential neighbourhood. Although the pilot ejected and received some serious injuries, the co-pilot has died.
There will likely be a delay, or perhaps cancellation, of the remainder of this flyover tour.

UPDATE MAY 16: They’re going Edmonton to BC today, so it will be Sunday or maybe Monday for coming back over Calgary - watch their Twitter & Facebook for daily updates on the schedule!!
To honour the front-line workers of the pandemic, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds - the air force precision flight team - are doing a cross-country flyover tour in May.
This event date May 16 7pm - is not real; it's just a placeholder - read below for details
It's a cool thing to see, nine jets flying in formation, just a thousand feet above ground. It's also very brief... sneeze and you'll miss it!
Anyway - check their schedule and when they're planning to be over Calgary, the schedule will give a day/time; I assume they'll never be early, but they may be running a bit late (which, the social media will notify us about).
I also ASSUME they'll fly over the centre of the city - perhaps up MacLeod Trail/Centre Street; but maybe SW to NE corners... hard to say.
Whatever - if you can get outside with a camera, with a good view of the sky, not blocked in by buildings, then give it a look!
PLEASE NOTE: it doesn't look like they've published an actual schedule - naturally, weather is a factor every day - so it's a daily update on their Facebook and Twitter pages.
Monday, May 11 - they're over northern Ontario.
I can only ESTIMATE that they'll be over Calgary on Thursday or Friday.
