Welcome to the inaugural annual CalgaryR Meeting, hosted by the CalgaryR User Group. Join your fellow R practioners and learn how to use R over variety of disciplines within academia and industry, on Saturday May 16, 2020. We invite all those who wish to collaborate, learn and celebrate our skills and diversity.

We are inviting a distinguished scholar, Professor John Fox. He is an elected member of the R Foundation, as well as an author of the several widely used R packages, including the car, effects, and Rcmdr packages. Along with Sandford Wesiberg, he is the author of An R Companion to Applied Regression, Third Edition (Sage, 2019), the first edition of which, published in 2002, was one of the first books written on R. John Fox was the Senator McMaster Professor of Social Statistics and is currently Professor Emeritus of Sociology at McMaster University.
