Every Wednesday the Yerba Buena (San Francisco) chapter of the California Native Plant Society offers the opportunity to restore habitat alongside the expert native plant staff of San Francisco Recreation and Parks Natural Resources Division. This is your chance to see special places that were saved from development and are rich with local native plants.

This week's location is: Mt Davidson. Meet at the fire road across from 39 Dalewood St. Mount Davidson is the highest peak in San Francisco offering spectacular views of San Francisco’s skyline, bay, and the surrounding coastal mountains. This park offers habitat for numerous resident and migratory birds, butterflies, and insects - awe inspiring all year round.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress in appropriate clothing for physical work. Everyone 14 years old and older is invited; anyone under 14 yo must be accompanied by a guardian. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please be punctual.
