Your help is much needed at the beautiful Balboa Dunes!

This gorgeous restored dune area is in danger of being overrun with ripgut brome (an invasive annual grass)! It's a great candidate for weeding since it is easily identified and easy to pull- THERE"S JUST SO MUCH OF IT! We need a big crew to help kick this noxious weed in the pants before it can drop its seed. We will be working here again in two weeks to hopefully complete the project.
Meet at the northernmost boardwalk entrance, closest to the Cliff House.

Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided.
Please wear close-toed shoes and appropriate clothing for physical work. Layers are best while working near the ocean. It can get very windy and cold out there. Though beautiful!
