This is our second March work party to defend this gorgeous restored dune area agains the danger of being overrun with ripgut brome (an invasive annual grass)! This brome is a great candidate for weeding since it is easily identified and easy to pull- THERE"S JUST SO DARN MUCH OF IT that it takes a lot of hands to get rid of it! We need a big crew to help kick this noxious weed in the pants before it can drop its seed.
Meet at the northernmost boardwalk entrance, closest to the Cliff House.

Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided.
Please wear close-toed shoes and appropriate clothing for physical work. Layers are best while working near the ocean. It can get very windy and cold out there. Though beautiful!
