Carnegie Trail/Flume Trail, Paradise Pines Greenbelt

Meet and Chico Park and Ride (west end next to Hwy 99 Freeway) at 9 am. Bring lunch or snacks, water, sturdy shoes, and dress for the weather. We will drive up Skyway to Colter Road and then to the Carnegie Road trailhead. We will be walking through a grove of big leaf maple trees, which hopefully will be in full color. We will veer to the right at the first intersection to view a 3’ waterfall, and connect to the Flume Trail as it follows the ditch. There are no metal flumes to cross. A connecting trail leads to Li’l Falls. The return is by a partial loop using Lower Carnegie East Trail as we return to the Carnegie Trailhead.
