Meet at the Biological Sciences Greenhouse (between Yolo Hall and the train tracks, next to tennis courts) at 11:00 AM. You can park for free at the Stadium Parking Lot.
Shaine Hill will be hosting a tour of the Chico State Biological Sciences Greenhouse, which houses a desert, temperate, and tropical living collection of over 1,500 species of plants from all over the world. This is a great chance to see flowers in the middle of December. The greenhouse also has a collection of California natives and student research projects. One of the highlights will be five amazing Welwitschia mirabilis, a strange plant that can grow over 2000 years in the wild. If you haven’t visited before, make sure to join us!
