Join us in learning more about moss and their lesser known hornwort and liverwort allies! We will be carpooling from the Chico Park and Ride on Highway at 9 AM. For those driving solo, arrive at the Iron Canyon Trailhead at 10:00 AM. The trailhead is located on the west side of highway 36, approximately 5 miles after the highway 99 turnoff. The trail is a 3.5 mile loop, with 300 feet elevation gain. Be sure to bring sturdy shoes, lunch, and water. Bring a hand lens if you have one.
