# Plants Are Firing Bosses Without Radios: Botanical Adventures at the Butte County Resource Conservation District

Speaker Wolfy Rougle is a botanist and CEQA-NEPA practitioner who joined the Butte County Resource Conservation District in spring 2018. In 2019, she started the Butte County Prescribed Burn Association. Currently, she focuses mostly on watershed restoration projects on Forest Service lands in the Butte Creek and West Branch Feather River watersheds. Wolfy's favorite thing about Butte County is watching its secret understory re-surface after fires.
