Julie Snider will present a micro-workshop, “Breadcrumbs in the Forest: 5 ways to Find and Connect with Readers.”
Julie will also facilitate the Open Prose segment. Attendees are asked to help create a positive and fun environment by adhering to these guidelines:
Prose reading sign-ups will be on site and will end before the start of the meeting at 1:00 p.m.

  • Each presenter gets 3 minutes for reading, which is usually enough time to read 500 words.
  • Just read your selection—no setup or backstory.
  • For fiction, it’s best to select a portion with action. Avoid long exposition or lots of dialogue.
  • Practice ahead of time to ensure our timekeeper won’t cut you off mid-sentence.

The admission cost of $15 helps pay for the room rental, the speaker fee and refreshments.
You can pay on the day or get your ticket below.
