Scary Times Ahead

Welcome to Halloween and have we got a free dance event for you. Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District's annual Frankenstein Ball for seniors (must be 50+).

Dress up (WEAR A COSTUME). Live Music. Some refreshments (non alcoholic) are being provided.

Updated 06/08/25: Per Wendy Z: Please note this is a BALLROOM dance. The Seniors of Note big band plays music for couples dances like foxtrot, waltz, rhumba, cha cha, swing and tango. This is not the place for freestyle rock 'n roll dancing like you might do at Ric's or some other local venues. You should aim for at least a somewhat even mix or men and women or you won't have partners to dance with. Yes, this is an old fashioned dance event. Fun if you know how to do at least some of the ballroom dances and enjoy the kinds of American Standards big band music that goes with them.

Although it is free, if you are able to donate to them it helps all their programs.
