Join us for a special event focused on the Uposatha, a day dedicated to spiritual practice and ethical living. This will center around the Eight Precepts, which guide us in leading a mindful and compassionate life.
Please note that the entire event will be conducted in Sinhala, the language of Sri Lanka, though all are welcome to join!
Uposatha is a Theravada Buddhist day of observance held for spiritual reflection, renewal, and for practicing the Eight Precepts. It is a time for laypeople to intensify meditation, visit temples, and make offerings, while monastics recite the Pātimokkha. A

The primary goal is for the "cleansing of the defiled mind," leading to inner calm, joy, and increased dedication to the Dharma.
