We respectfully invite you to join us in honoring the memory of the Late Most Venerable Kudawelle Vangeesa Maha Thero, a revered Vipassanā meditation master, renowned Dhamma teacher, and founder of the Tapovanaya Buddhist Monasteries in Sri Lanka.

Buddhist Chanting Ceremony (Chanting by 15 Sri Lankan monks)
This will be the first chanting ceremony at the Tapovanaya International Buddhist Center (Camarillo Buddhist Center) during which the entire Great Book of Protection Chants (Catu Bhāṇavāra Pāli) will be recited. The chanting is offered to invoke blessings upon the temple, its members, and the surrounding community.

Dear Friends in the Dhamma,
You and your family are cordially invited to attend both ceremonies.

Following the chanting ceremony, blessed water and blessing bracelets will be distributed. If you need to leave before the conclusion of the Saturday ceremony, you are welcome to return on Sunday morning during the Breakfast Dāna offering to receive your blessed water and bracelet.

Monetary donations and other offerings to support the monastic community are gratefully welcomed and will be respectfully presented to the monastic community following each ceremony.

Volunteers are also sincerely appreciated. Your assistance with cleaning, setting up the chanting pavilion and dining hall, and decorating the temple with Buddhist flags will help make these ceremonies successful and meaningful.

We look forward to sharing these meritorious events with you as we commemorate the life and teachings of our beloved teacher.

Thank you.

May the blessings of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha be with you and your family always.
