Policies

I want use to have a great time, and while these policies may seem like a drag, it's what I've come after experience and what I believe helps to make this the best experience possible for everyone.

So, before you RSVP please consider the following...

• If you think you won't make it, please agree to update your RSVP as soon as possible: This greatly helps me predict and accommodate everyone. I'm hoping to, in the future, do events with guest speakers and I'd like to start having more reliable numbers before I do that.

• Please keep an eye out for messages I may send: I want to ensure you are all updated and events go as smoothly as possible.

• Please do not show up if you are not RSVPed: This has happened before with closed groups and it is disrespectful. If you would like to attend but RSVPs are closed, please kindly reach out to me and ask. I'm normally very flexible. Otherwise it's a permanent ban.

• Please do not abuse my phone number if you have it: Sometimes I give my number out to help coordinate - this does not mean you can, say, text me at 4am on a whim.

• If you attend and are unhappy with something, please tell me: I don't take things personally but I can't help you if you don't tell me.

• Use the law of two feet: Once at the event, enjoy it however you'd like, stay with the group, separate, leave as you desire (no need to apologize if you need to leave), this is meant for everyone's enjoyment, enjoy it as you will.

• Try to arrive 5 minutes early but
