About us
This group exists to support people who are interested in creating art in Cambridge, whether for fun or professionally. It aggregates together events from a number of different groups from life drawing to urban sketching. If you organise such events in the Cambridge area get in touch to list them.
Remember the key to improvement is regular practice, so whatever your level come along and get drawing!

Weekday drawing at the Sidgwick Site with the Cambridge urban sketchers
Sidgwick Site, CB3 9DA, Cambridge, GBJoin us for weekday sketching at the Sidgwick Site. Wikipedia describes the site as
one of the largest sites in the university, hosting numerous examples of spectacular modern architecture well worth drawing. See more details on the site here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidgwick_SiteWe will meet at 1pm at the entrance to the museum of classical archeology. Then we'll disperse to sketch whatever inspires. We'll meet back at the same location at 3pm to share our work and take a group photo. After that join us at Floreys Cafe for some post sketching socialising, food, and drink.
The event is free but does not include food, drink, or art materials. Everyone is welcome whether you've just started to draw or have been a professional artist for many years. We look forward to seeing you there.
