Sketching at the Sidgwick site with the Cambridge urban sketchers

Details
Wikipedia describes the Sidgwick site as
one of the largest sites in the university hosting numerous examples of spectacular modern architecture well worth drawing. See more details on the site here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidgwick_Site
Hopefully the weather will be kind, but dress appropriately for sitting still and I recommend a stool or mat if you have one! Parts of the site are sheltered so don't let a bit of rain put you off!
We will meet at 11am at the entrance to the museum of classical archeology (unfortunately closed), then we'll disperse to sketch whatever inspires. We'll meet back at the same location at 1pm to share our work and take a group photo. After that join us at the Iris cafe in Newnham College for some post sketching socialising, food, and drink.
The event is free but does not include food, drink, or art materials. Everyone is welcome whether you've just started to draw or have been a professional artist for many years. We look forward to seeing you there.
