Sketch & Social - 3rd Birthday

This month, we’re taking a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come and look forward to all that’s ahead. It’s our 3rd birthday so we’re inviting you to think about celebrations, milestones, and new beginnings!

What does a new chapter look like to you? Is it a doorway waiting to be opened, a tiny seed growing into something new, or a blank page ready to be filled with fresh ideas? This session is all about sketching your own interpretation of what it means to celebrate, grow, and start anew.

We’ll meet on the green by The Mill - our exact spot will be posted on Instagram stories so make sure to check there for updates. Alternatively, just look out for the group with sketchbooks in hand! If you can, bring along a picnic mat or chair for a comfy seat.

As it's our birthday, we'll provide a few beers and snacks - but please bring along some bits to share with friends and others if you can!

This session will be hosted by Karolina, Olivia, and myself. It will be my last Sketch & Social before I move away, so if you're able to make it I'd love to see you all and say goodbye! Don't panic - the amazing team at Layrd Design will take over the running and organising of events, and will continue to bring you free monthly meet-ups in Cambridge.

As always, everyone is welcome at Sketch & Social - whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, coming alone or with friends. Please just remember to bring your own sketchbooks, pens, and any other materials you like to create with.
