Drawing at Coe Fen with Cambridge Urban Sketchers
Details
The Coe Fen and Sheep's Green are 16.9 hectares of nature reserves close to the centre of Cambridge. This seasonally flooded land where the river Cam splits and forms the Mill Pond, was used for grazing cows and sheep (hence the names) and was an important commercial area for Cambridge where three watermills once stood.
We'll meet at the Bean Theory cafe entrance at 11am and draw until 1pm when we'll meet back at the cafe to share our work and take a group photo. After that we'll head to the Granta pub for lunch, coffee, and socialising.
The event is free but does not include food, drink, or art materials. Everyone is welcome whether you've just started to draw or have been a professional artist for many years. We look forward to seeing you there.
