Drawing at Strawberry Fair with Cambridge Urban Sketchers

Strawberry Fair is back! The biggest volunteer run festival in the country, takes over midsummer common for the day and is the perfect opportunity to draw the crowds, colour, and events.

The fair doesn't open until noon, so we'll meet at the geodesic dome in the Arts Area at 1pm. There will be four pedestrian entrances to the Fair - from Maid’s Causeway, Victoria Avenue Bridge, Jesus Green and Walnut Tree Avenue. And the
Arts Area may be a walk from there, so time appropriately (I don't have a map).

We'll meet back at the done at 3 pm to share our artistic experience of the fair. Hope to see you all there!

The event is free but does not include food, drink, or art materials. Everyone is welcome whether you've just started to draw or have been a professional artist for many years. We look forward to seeing you ther
