The revolution will be ceramicised

On a quiet Chiswick street, one house refuses to blend in.

Every inch of Carrie Reichardt's home is covered in mosaic. Colour, wit and razor-sharp slogans added, tile by tile, over decades.

Carrie is a craftivist: murals, ceramics, screen-printing and graphic design turned into protest. And it's the ordinariness of the street that gives the work its bite. Political messages land harder when they erupt from suburbia.
