"The hardest creative brief we've ever had? Our own. We've spent many years helping brands find their voice — then we had to find ours.”

Nic and Roz founded their design studio, Minx Creative, in 1997, and spent over two decades building brands for everyone from cultural institutions and not-for-profits to a football club. Then, in 2020, they launched Storigraphic — their own Cambridgeshire-based sustainable homeware and stationery brand — and got an education that went well beyond anything they'd expected.

In this talk, they share what it really takes to cross from designing agency-side for clients to building a brand and taking it to market: the unglamorous logistics nobody photographs for Instagram, and the far tougher challenge of finding your own distinctive design language.

Whether you work for clients, run your own brand, hope to one day, or just enjoy a good story about being on the other side of the brief, you'll hear how they did it, and get to put your questions to them.

Come and find out what happens when you become your own client!
