Ely Blueberry Festival Bear Head Lake State Park

We'll be staying at Bear Head Lake State Park, 25 minutes from Ely. This weekend is the Blueberry Festival in Whiteside Park in Ely. You can experience artisans, crafters, along with the food court, beer tent and Kwannis blueberry pie! Live music and entertainment. Opens at 9 am on Friday and Saturday; 10 am on Sunday.

Bear Head Lake State Park offers hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing. Canoe, kayaks and paddleboards for rent. You can also tour the Soudan Mine. I'm looking at site 65e. First day to make your reservation is March 25, 2026. I suggest you reserve some days earlier and cancel later given that this weekend draws a crowd.
