Make your campsite reservations on June 25, 2025.

Because reservations for this park must be made a year in advance, I am posting this NOW! We will spend the holiday near by at Cleary Lake Regional Park-Cleary Point Group Camp. Camping, swimming, hiking, golfing! I have just reserved the group campsite! Cost to be determined by # of campers. Cost for each campsite is $60 for the four nights.

With its pristine lakes, virgin pines, swimming beach, and wilderness-like setting, Scenic State Park is well deserving of its name. Here, visitors can hike the Chase Point Trail for hypnotic views of Coon and Sandwick Lakes and listen to the wind whistle through the giant pines. The park's overnight facilities include campsites (boat-in, drive-in, backpack), and a cabin. The historic lodge houses interpretive displays. The cost will be $40 per footprint (tent, trailer, pop-up etc.). The group camp has a couple of electrical outlets and lots of tent/trailer space and parking. This is probably my favorite group camp. Let's have some fun.

Event usually kicks off with a Thursday market by the lake featuring food trucks, live music and kids activities at Ohuta Beach. Friday would include the USA Water Ski & Wake Sports "Get on the Water " event allowing people to learn to ski for free. Market continues at beach. On Saturday the water ski shows take place at Ohuta Beach Park. Sunday is the Grand Parade. There would be more water ski shows, a carnival and a car show.

Frontenac State Park has camping, hiking, kayaking, boating on Lake Pepin. I'm looking at site 13e. First day to make your reservation is February 25, 2026. Again it's recommended that you reserve back to an earlier date and cancel the extra days later.
