Full Moon hiking at Pinnacles NM ( Camping one night)

When you travel down fron San Jose,not far away after you have passed Giroy, see the sign of higway way 25, Turn on to highway 25 south!!!
Please follow the driving direction here! GPS may lead you to the west entrance!!! Campsit is on the east side.

Camping Saturday, checkout Sunday before noon.

Direstions:

Take Hwy 101 south through the city ofGilroy to Hwy 25 south. On Hwy 25, go through the town of Hollister and continue about 30 miles to Hwy 146. Turn right on Hwy 146, Pinnacles Visitor Center and campground is on the left

Check in and fees:

no campsite has been booked yet, there are usually plenty to select and (advance booking usually is charged with $8.00 fees )and we can check in either group compsite or 2 site according to the numbers of people actually come.camping fees shared per person.

ground site 1-10 people $75 presite pernight 11-20 people $110 persite pernight

small sites 1-6 people $23 persite per night.

fees to enter Pinnacle NM:$5.00 per car

Please RSVP when you really mean it, members repeated RSVP without showing up will end up be announced and deleted.

Saturday Dinner : potluck, bring one dish to share. early dinner begins at 5:30pm ends at 6:30:pm. no camp fire is allowed, only camp stove

Hiking :We'll start to head for the high peaks after diner to catch the sun setting at the top.

Remember to Bring : Flash light, jacket,water,snacks or other you need for the night hiking. we will be on the trail for about 3 to 4 hours.

Please come prepared and join us in this event at your own risk.

Note: check the updates on this event, it will be canceled if:

1,it rains or it is heavy cloudy on the full moon day

2, no campsites available at the date, but you can still hike up to you

Carpool are highly recommended!!! you can reach out to the others for carpool by yourself to save gas costs. I am not arranging it for you.
