Martinak State Park sits along the Choptank River, the largest of the Eastern Shore tributaries. The park offers a wide variety of plant and animal life along with hiking trails and overnite camping.

Let's try a new location - SHAWNEE STATE PARK - located 10 miles west of the historic town of BEDFORD,PA along US30. The park is known for its scenic views of the Ridge and Valley Province, along with the beautiful 451-acre Shawnee Lake. The park offers hiking, biking, boating, swimming and of course camping.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION! THE LINK IS BELOW. I AM IN LOOP G AT SITE#286. There are both electric and non-electric sites available at this time. I recommend that your reserve now as these will fill up quickly. If your plans change later, you can always offer it to another camper or cancel it. Elk Neck State Park is located on a peninsula surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Elk River. The park offers 6 miles of trails, a boat launch, unguarded swimming area, Nature Center, and Park Store. Visitors enjoy hiking to the Turkey Point Lighthouse, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hunting, picnicking and camping.

Nestled in the heart of the Cumberland State Forest in central Virginia, Bear Creek Lake is less than an hour west of Richmond. It's the perfect getaway for the outdoor enthusiast. Activities center on the 40-acre lake with a boat launch, fishing pier, boat rentals and a swimming beach. Other attractions include a meeting facility, cabins, camping, picnicking, an archery range and playgrounds. Guests also enjoy the park's trails and access to the adjoining 16,000-acre Cumberland State Forest, including the 14-mile Cumberland Multi-use Trail, which is available for hiking, biking and horseback riding.
