This group is for those who really enjoy spending time outdoors - in and with nature. We will be camping at some of the best spots in MD,PA and VA. Many state parks that offer camping also have a variety of other activities like hiking, biking, or kayaking, that you can try out or if you prefer, just spending time reading a good book in front of the campfire. No matter if you camp in a tent, an RV,a car or just under the stars, you are welcome to join the group. Even if you have never camped before but would like to try it, this is the group for you! So get your camping gear ready and Let's Go Camping!

We are starting to have warmer days, just before the heat becomes unbearable! Join us camping at ROCKY GAP STATE PARK where it is still cool enough to do some hiking but warm enough to enjoy a swim in the lake. The park offers fishing, boating,&kayaking, hiking and camping in its 3,00 acres.
YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION - LINK IS BELOW. There are both tent sites and electric sites available, I am in site#179 in the GUM LOOP. I recommend that you book your site now as these will fill up quickly! Even if you are uncertain at this time, you can always cancel or offer to sell your site to another camper later. Greenbrier State Park is a public recreation area located on South Mountain, three miles northeast of Boonsboro in Washington County, Maryland, USA. The state park has camping, hiking trails, and a 42-acre man-made lake.
YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION! The link is below. I am in the BIRCH LOOP #43. This loop is a non-electric one but the Cedar Loop is ALL electric. There are plenty of sites available now but book early as this is a very popular state park and they will fill up fairly quickly.
