Elk Neck State Park is located on a peninsula surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Elk River. The park offers 6 miles of trails, a boat launch, unguarded swimming area, Nature Center, and Park Store. Visitors enjoy hiking to the Turkey Point Lighthouse, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hunting, picnicking and camping.
