About CATA

Formed in 2021, the Canadian Association for Technical Analysis (CATA) is a premium educational resource catering to non-professional Technical Analysts.

CATA offers valuable learning opportunities through bimonthly meetings with prominent presenters. If you cannot attend, members have access to all historic meeting videos, so you don't miss out.

Members can also take advantage of informal learning and networking through the forums, where you can ask questions of peers, or offer your own insights.

CATA believes that there is a community of people interested in coming together to learn and share their knowledge and skills about trading and investing in the stock market. CATA’s aim is to help that community grow, and assist people on their journey to learn more about Technical Analysis, and managing their own investments.

Members of CATA also can access information from the IFTA website and attend their meetings. IFTA is an international non-profit organization with member societies in 21 countries. The International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) offers certification to technical analysts around the world.
