Welcome to the Canberra Horror Movie Fans Meetup Group! What is your favourite scary movie?
Do you prefer to see scary movies on the big screen? Do you like talking to other horror movie fans about your favourite scary movies? Get ready to share your love for the genre, connect with like-minded fans, and indulge in spine-chilling discussions.
The vibe will be casual and friendly, for both die-hard genre fans and scaredy-cats alike.
We'll organise meetups to see the latest horror movies on the big screen (most likely at Dendy's, or another local cinema like NFSA if there is a film not being screened at Dendy's) with a quick meal before or after to discuss our favourite horror movies. Perhaps we could host other horror movie related events like horror themed game nights, meetup dinners, maybe how to host a murder nights? Suggestions are very welcome.
Regarding movie attendance: You will need to organise your own ticket/s - acceptance of the meetup will not guarantee you a ticket. The meetup announcement will advise the seat that the host has secured. You do not need to be seated near the host. If the announcement is a movie + meal, you may attend one or the other or both or none.

Important: embers who register their attendance to a limited-reservation food venue meetup and do not show up without cancelling beforehand three times will be removed from the group. This is because there are limited reservations and you may take a spot from another member who intends to go, and it is an nuisance to the host who may have booked a table. This will not apply to any movie screening as you will need to bear the cost of purchasing your own ticket.
