CGI with Python and RenderMan

Details
RenderMan is Pixar's 3d graphical library / framework / toolkit for creating images, animations and special effects. It's been around since the 1990's and used by people and companies worldwide. There is a Python API and a free version you can run on your home computer.
This talk will be an introduction to 3D procedural modelling and animation, creating fun graphics by writing code (in Python of course) rather than applications. You too can destroy the integrity of modern movies and TV by replacing real objects and physical effects with soulless computer generated images.
Speaker: Hugh Fisher is a longtime Python and 3D graphics programmer.
Pizza and drinks provided.
