I am an environmental consultant and I walk around in the bush, collecting data using an app on my iPhone. This data is needed for the approvals process for wind farms. Recently I started using Python to convert the GIS data that I had collected into html documents that I could review in a web browser. I could suddenly see all the rare plant and animal photos and make sure that the data was correct before it was mapped.

The systems that I will talk about include:

• Creating JSON forms and unpacking collected data;
• Databases found in GIS data that I can connect to; and
• Using Log Seq to organise data processing scripts;
