This kayaking journey offers a leisurely and scenic experience, provided the weather cooperates with calm winds. We'll be paddling adjacent to the stunning coasts of Oakland and Alameda, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the East Bay shoreline. Distance: Approximately 7 miles
Destination: Immigrant Park in Alameda
Our destination is the recently inaugurated Immigrant Park, nestled just across from iconic Jack London Square in Oakland. This park has been thoughtfully designed for kayakers, offering a specially designed ramp for easy launch and retrieval of kayaks. You'll also find picnic tables where you can enjoy your packed lunch and restroom facilities.

Each paddler must have the training, experience and equipment required to complete this paddle safely, and must assume all personal risks. A Coast Guard approved life jacket or Personal Flotation Device must be worn by everyone while on the water.
