What we’re about
Welcome to the Cantonment Primary School Parent Support Group (PSG) community! We're thrilled to have you join us in our mission to enrich the educational journey of our children at CPS.
Join us and become a CPS PSG Member today by requesting to join this group.
What is CPS PSG? The CPS PSG is a dedicated group of parents and guardians working together to create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We firmly believe that parental involvement plays a vital role in enriching our children’s educational journey. Together, we host bonding events for families, share useful resources, and support various school activities and events. Visit here to learn more about us.
● How to become a PSG Member? All parents/guardians of a child studying at CPS can join the CPS PSG as a PSG Member. As a PSG Member, you are part of our CPS PSG community where we build a strong network of parent support, we regularly share resources and event updates for you to participate. Once you’ve become a member, you are more than welcome to volunteer as when you would like - there is no obligation on volunteering but we do encourage you to try it out!
● Types of events to join: There are plenty of events and activities for you to participate in, and we’ll regularly share updates on Meetup. Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Bonding Social Events: Connect with fellow parents while having fun! These events include activities like Chinese New Year celebrations, bowling, or archery, and even opportunities to learn new skills like leather crafting or pottery.
- Workshops: Gain valuable insights from trainers and experts to support your parenting journey. Examples include sessions like the Love Language Workshop and more.
- Volunteering for School Events/Activities: Contribute to the school community by volunteering for various school and PSG-led activities. Each event listed on Meetup will include details about the role and responsibilities for Parent Volunteers. Don’t worry—every activity is guided by school teachers and/or PSG leaders, so you’ll always have support.
● Parent Volunteer: All PSG Members can sign up to volunteer for school and PSG events. All Parent Volunteers should respect and follow our teacher’s instructions and abide by the Parent Volunteer Guidelines. This is extremely important to ensure our students have a safe and enriching learning environment.
Participating in PSG activities is an incredibly rewarding experience. By getting involved, you open yourself to opportunities to connect with other parents, share valuable insights, and contribute meaningfully to the school community. We also organize workshops and events designed to support parents in their own growth and development. For those who choose to volunteer, your contributions directly enhance your child’s school environment while fostering a sense of community. Together, we support our children’s development and become an integral part of their learning journey.
Join us by signing up on Meetup CPS PSG today!
Sincerely,
CPS PSG Executive Committee 2025 Team

More about CPS PSG and PSG EXCO Team
The CPS PSG community is led by the PSG Executive Committee (EXCO) team, composed of highly committed PSG members who have demonstrated dedication and contribution through years of volunteering and support for CPS. The EXCO team actively recruits parents to join PSG as Parent Volunteers, support essential school programs, and lead the coordination of school-wide events, including International Friendship Day, cultural celebrations, Teacher’s Day, and more.
Beyond these initiatives, we foster a sense of community by hosting events that unite CPS parents and families, strengthening bonds and facilitating communication between school leaders and parents/guardians through platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp groups.
