Rock Climbing (and maybe Hiking) trip.
Beginners to Advanced welcome.

The Plan:
Friday:
Drive to Lone Pine on your own schedule. Hotel/Camping Check-in.

Saturday:

9:30 - Climbing. Routes from 5.3 to 5.10s suitable for Newbies to Intermediate climbers

Sat + Sun Alternative:
If it is too hot in Alabama Hills for climbing - We will go Hiking in cooler elevation instead.

9:00 - Start hike ~6.5 Miles. 1750’ Elevation gain.

Bring:
Hiking Gear:
Backpack. Plenty water. Lunch/snacks. Clothing appropriate to elevation & anticipated weather. Hat. Sunscreen. Beanie. Gloves.
Climbing Gear:
Harness. Belay device. Climbing shoes. Chalk bag. Helmet.
Optional: Lead rope + Quick draws. Trad gear.
I will bring a Static rope for top-ropes / We will need more Static ropes if we want to setup more top-ropes.
Camping:
Everything you’ll need if you plan on camping.

TRIP RULES (or Safe & Smart Hiking)
> Leave your trip plan and expected start & finish times with a trusted friend or family member.
> Do what you can to be: Trail ready. Weather ready. Emergency ready.
> Stick together! On the hike’s in and out of the canyon do not walk away from the group, wait for others. If you need to use the (natural) facilities, Let someone know before you disappear.
