A short, WET and relatively beginner friendly canyon.

The approach is a 1/2 mile on paved road and 3/8 of a mile on trail with a bit scrambling involved.

A wet-suit is not needed, but you can bring one. Or just a Rain jacket + pants. Neoprene socks recommended because your feet will be in the water often. Bring dry clothes to change into at your car.

Canyon Logistics:

* All participants must be experienced and have all required gear to pass through the canyon

Water level: Moderate - Rain Jacket + Pants recommended

Bring:

Hiking Gear:

Backpack. Water. Lunch/snacks. Clothing appropriate to anticipated weather. Hat. Sunscreen.

Recommended: Small First-Aid kit + Emergency Kit. Headlamp + Extra batteries.

Canyoneering Gear Must Per Person:

Harness + Rappelling Device, 4-5 Extra Locking Carabiners, Safety Tether. Helmet. Ascending set of your choice. Whistle.

Minimum 15’ of Webbing and 1-2 Quick-links to help with anchors if needed.

Ropes:

I will bring one 200' rope. We'll need at least 1 more 100' or 200’ ropes

THE FINE PRINT

> This is not a guided trip! Canyoneering is a team sport where every member should be able to rappel well, build new anchors and inspect existing ones, rig for all contingencies, manage ropes efficiently and contribute in every aspect of the adventure. All participants should have appropriate training and/or sufficient previous experience.
