About us
The Cape Ann Pride Coalition (founded in 2023) seeks to foster a greater sense of community--and fun!--among all the LGBTQIA+ members of Greater Cape Ann (Essex, Gloucester, Ipswich, Manchester, Rockport) and our family Allies so that we can learn from each other, celebrate each other, support each other, and plan for a great future for our diverse community here on Cape Ann. We invite all residents of or workers on Cape Ann to join our recurring events (some will be 21+, some will be for LGBTQIA+ folx only) for casual conversations, some outings, meeting new friends, deepening old friendships, and seeing the community power of #CapeAnnPride.

Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, 290 Argilla Rd, Ipswich, MAPicture an evening of mystery and queer glam at one of the North Shore's most beautiful settings — the Great House at Castle Hill, with the Grand Allée stretching out toward the ocean.
Masks, fashion, a full cash bar, seasonal hors d'oeuvres by Fireside Catering, and live music from the acclaimed Suzuki School of Newton String Quartet, all among a community of friends, allies, and neighbors gathered to support the work we do all year long.As we head into our fourth year in 2027, the funds raised this night will directly power what comes next for Cape Ann Pride — more free community events like Families Bowl With Pride and the Teen Sail, expanded programming for LGBTQIA+ youth, seniors, and veterans, scholarships, advocacy work across Greater Cape Ann, and so much more.
