📖 Abstracts:
Is it time? Has making changes become too expensive, time-consuming and exhausting? You know what I'm taking about! That monolith that you do not want to change because a simple change inevitably breaks something somewhere else.
In this fairly opinionated session, I am going to talk through the options of breaking up large applications and adopting modern platforms and technologies.
We will discuss breaking up the application into manageable chucks leveraging micro-services, containers and serverless technologies.
I'll be speaking through some processes, procedures and practices that should give you an understanding of what is possible, and maybe give you the insight and guts to breathe some new life into that big app in the corner.
