Capital Toastmaster Club answers all above questions with a big yes! We are a part of international non-profit organization #Toastmasters International.
Every Toastmaster’s journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer, plan and lead, they give feedback and accept it. Through our vast community of experienced Toastmasters, they find their path to become a Competent Communicator or a Competent Leader.
Toastmasters program comprises of eleven pathways ranging from humorous speech to presentation skills and focuses on developing five core competencies:
Public Speaking (#publicspeaking)
Interpersonal #Communication
Strategic Leadership (#strategicleadership)
#Management
#Confidence
A member progress through selected Pathway by completing a series of manuals that contain projects and evaluation guides. There are many opportunities for awards and recognition along the way.
